Kiana Azizmohammadi is an Iranian interdisciplinary artist based in London. Ceramics is central to her practice, which spans sculpture, installation, photography and moving image. She is drawn to clay’s malleability, the histories and meanings it carries, and the contrasts that emerge when ceramics is combined with other materials. Her projects begin with an idea and evolve through making, as materials suggest new directions and possibilities.

She holds a BA in Handicrafts, specialising in Ceramics, from Alzahra University in Tehran, and an MA in Fine Art with Distinction from Middlesex University, London.

Her work has been exhibited at venues including ANNEX by The Koppel Project, ArtWorks East and Southwark Park Galleries, and featured in Collect Art publications. She was longlisted for the East London Art Prize in 2026 and selected for the Tourandokht International Festival in Tehran in 2024
